Looking ahead: Actions to Foster Responsible Business Conduct

The Regional Consultation on Business and Human Rights is the region’s foremost gathering inn this area. It provides a unique space for dialogue between governments, business, civil society, affected groups, workers organizations and international organizations on trends, challenges and good practices in preventing and addressing business-related human rights impacts.
In its 4th edition, stakeholders will meet for two days to exchange best practices, lessons learned and take stock of the implementation of international standards on responsible business conduct by states and businesses in the region.

The Consultation is organised by the OHCHR Regional Office for South America and the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights, with the support of ILO and OECD in the context of the EU- financed project on Responsible Business Conduct in Latin America and the Caribbean.
