aria-label=\" (abre en una nueva pesta\u00f1a)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.unwomen.org\/es\" target=\"_blank\">ONU Mujeres<\/a> Paraguay y la Oficina para Am\u00e9rica del Sur de la Alta Comisionada de las Naciones Unidas para los Derechos Humanos (<a href=\"http:\/\/acnudh.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (abre en una nueva pesta\u00f1a)\">ACNUDH<\/a>) concuerdan con la necesidad de la revisi\u00f3n del estatuto que regula el trabajo dom\u00e9stico vigente en Paraguay y felicitan el debate promovido por el Poder Legislativo, los sindicatos de trabajadoras dom\u00e9sticas y las organizaciones de la sociedad civil sobre el Proyecto de Ley \u201cQue Modifica el art\u00edculo 10 de la Ley N\u00b0 5.407\/2015 Del Trabajo Dom\u00e9stico\u201d.<\/p>\n\n<p>En tal sentido,\r\napreciamos que este debate se presente como una oportunidad para integrar los\r\nest\u00e1ndares internacionales en la materia, incluyendo las recomendaciones que\r\nlos mecanismos internacionales de protecci\u00f3n de los derechos humanos han\r\nrealizado a la Rep\u00fablica del Paraguay y que, conforme al texto de su\r\npresentaci\u00f3n, se enmarque \u201cen preceptos constitucionales y en normativa\r\ninternacional ratificada por el pa\u00eds\u201d como lo son el Convenio 189 de la OIT y\r\nla Recomendaci\u00f3n N\u00b0201.<\/p>\n\n<p>Recordamos que el\r\nComit\u00e9 para la Eliminaci\u00f3n de la Discriminaci\u00f3n contra la Mujer (CEDAW), la\r\nComisi\u00f3n de la Condici\u00f3n Jur\u00eddica y Social de la Mujer (CSW), la Relatora\r\nEspecial sobre formas contempor\u00e1neas de esclavitud, el Relator Especial sobre\r\nla extrema pobreza y los derechos humanos, sus causas y consecuencias, y el\r\nGrupo de Trabajo sobre la cuesti\u00f3n de la discriminaci\u00f3n contra la mujer en la\r\nlegislaci\u00f3n y en la pr\u00e1ctica, han formulado recomendaciones orientadas al\r\ncumplimiento de las obligaciones internacionales de Paraguay en materia de trabajo\r\ndecente, salario m\u00ednimo y condiciones laborales de las personas trabajadoras\r\ndom\u00e9sticas.<\/p>\n\n<p>En este\r\ncontexto, manifestamos que el Proyecto de Ley anteriormente se\u00f1alado constituye\r\nuna oportunidad hist\u00f3rica para el pa\u00eds de adecuar el nivel de protecci\u00f3n de las\r\npersonas trabajadoras dom\u00e9sticas a los est\u00e1ndares
